The primary goal of this contest is to educate students in 4th – 8th grades about aquatic and terrestrial invasive species that impact our Northwoods’ Counties.

POSTER INFORMATION
Posters entries are due by 4:00 p.m. on a Tuesday in May, 2019 not yet determined.  Complete entry forms must be attached to the back of the poster.  For contest  information, entry forms, poster drop-off locations, and more, keep an eye out here for the new 2019 brochure (coming at a later date!)

CHOOSING A TOPIC
It’s never too early to choose a topic for your poster. It will help you gain a better understanding of how invasive species can harm our woods, lakes, rivers, and streams and there are many from which to choose.   Perhaps bringing awareness to that invasive will help keep it out of your area.

Examples of some of the many invasive species topics include:

All students grades 4th – 8th who attend public, private, or home schools in Wisconsin are welcome to participate. Currently, our poster contest covers 18 counties, representing a large part of Northern Wisconsin! Click on the map for a larger view.
